A few spots left – Join me in Scotland in September 2026!

Feb 13, 2026: 4 spots left!

Hi All – There are still a few spots available, and registration will close when the tour fills or on March 2, whichever comes first. I am personally leading this tour (and have done several times before), so please feel free to reach out with questions.

The UW-Madison iSchool is pleased to announce that we’re offering our long-running Scotland tour program once again, this September 1-11, 2026.

The group will stay in Glasgow and Edinburgh, Scotland, where we will visit libraries and cultural heritage institutions. We will also take day trips to Stirling Castle and its surrounds as well as the Western Highlands. We welcome any adult who is interested in libraries, but I think that this tour will be particularly interesting for library workers, librarians, those in professions related to libraries. In the past, our tour groups have been a blend of working professionals, retired professionals, as well as their friends, family, partners, and spouses. This lifelong learning program is open to the general public, and is not eligible for academic credit.

All information and registration can be found on the tour website: https://go.wisc.edu/scotland26
