Out Today (Oct 6, 2021): Public Service Loan Forgiveness Overhaul News

Many US-based folks employed in GLAM professions may qualify to participate (or are already participating) in Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) if they took out Federal student loans. This program has, unfortunately, been riddled with problems since its inception over a decade ago. In an effort to remedy this, the US Department of Education has announced a program overhaul for PSLF today. Please take a look at the press release and see if this overhaul may impact you or those in your network, or to learn more about PSLF in general.

Normally I include information about travel/conference registration funding in this annual round-up post, and I have done so when it’s clear that these opportunities are available in this time of continuing uncertainty.
