Newly created full-time e-repository coordinator position is now available in
Indianapolis, Indiana. It is a wonderful opportunity for a recent library and
information school graduate interested in the digital repository, e-
scholarship field. The position reports to the repository manager. Detailed

The Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) founded in
1922, – with over 135,000 members in approximately 490 chapters throughout 85
countries – supports the learning, knowledge, and professional development of
nurses making a difference in global health. The Virginia Henderson Global
Nursing e-Repository, a free resource of STTI, is an open-access, scholarly
and clinical repository available to all nurses with over 38,000 abstract and
full-text entries to date.

Job Summary: Responsible for assisting with daily activities associated with
Virginia Henderson Global Nursing e-Repository. Assists with organizing,
gathering, and transferring the archival records of Sigma Theta Tau
International to the offsite archives.

Principal Responsibilities:

*         Help scholars and researchers navigate and use the repository successfully.
*         Create collection pages and set up workflow options in the repository.
*         Update and maintain all resource webpages as related to the repository website.
*         Become familiar with the repository’s software system and assist researchers and reviewers with system-related questions.
*         Update and maintain peer-reviewer database.
*         Oversee batch information uploads via Excel spreadsheets.
*         Complete data entry projects to maintain metadata consistency.
*         Assist with archival records management and transmission of materials to archivist.

Minimum Requirements:

*   Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
*   3-5 years of work experience in an administrative professional position required
*   Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required; familiarity with digital formats (pdf,HTML) and open-source management software desired
*   Excellent communication and organization skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, and ability to work independently and problem solve required
*   Previous library or academic environment helpful
