Role
The world of information management is continually expanding in exciting and challenging ways. This is an opportunity to become part of a team that is at the forefront of change. We?re looking for an information management professional who is ready to keep the Alberta Public Service moving towards a corporate records and information management framework focused on best practices and service excellence.
In this role, you will be involved in a variety of cross-government activities, including: business analysis; issues research; project management; and business process improvements, issues resolution, and change management strategy recommendations.
As the ideal candidate, you will have knowledge of records management and associated technologies, research methodologies, and elements of functional business analysis and project management. Your strong knowledge in records classification structures will be invaluable in developing classification systems and retention and disposition schedules.
Your well-developed analytical skills and ability to build effective working relationships at all levels throughout government will ensure your success in this role.
Qualifications
University degree in a related field plus four years of experience in information management or business analysis is required. Project management experience or certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is considered an asset. Equivalencies will be considered.

Salary
$2,648.35 – $3,471.63 bi-weekly ($69,121 – $90,609 annually)

Candidates with lesser qualifications may be considered at a lower classification and salary. This competition may be used to fill future vacancies. Secondments may be considered.
