Job Description (if URL to posting not available): Allied Vaughn was established in 1960 as a motion picture developing company, primarily servicing the communication needs of the automotive sector.  Since 2003 we have expanded our service offering to include Digital Asset Management and a variety of other corporate archival services.  We have a history of supporting a wide range of clients including General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Chrysler, Warner Brothers, Disney, McKesson, HP, and Carhartt.  We currently have operational facilities located in Detroit, Chicago, and Minneapolis with satellite offices and strategic partners both nationally and globally.  With expertise in a variety of related content management fields and professional organizational memberships, we employ professionals in the areas of project management, video editing, IT, digital content management, research and marketing, and archiving.

Position Overview
The Content Manager position is located in Dallas TX., and will be supporting a DAM platform transition with a launch scheduled for end of this year.  The overall duties include administrative system management, digital collection management, and serving as the primary liaison support between various stakeholders including internal users, global clients and Allied Vaughn.

The administrative system duties include the coordination with networking and security DB teams, collaborate with related teams for Integration (PIM/Sitecore), manage custom UI/Workspace configurations, assigning user permission roles and access, perform system audits, create, schedule and share reports to upper management, and serve as point person for managing vendor relationships.

Assists and supports in the planning, designing, configuring, implementing and evaluating for all global Corporate Design software systems, including but not limited to the Artwork Management System and Digital Asset Management System. Recommends system modifications that integrate with new business processes. Audits the software systems in order to identify areas needing improvement and provides resolution. Provides data analysis for management and executives as needed.

The collection management duties include maintaining the highest quality of metadata while following industry, digital and client standards.  Ensuring that internal resources like Final Tool Kits and Look Books are current and correctly tagged.  Regularly review and modify auto populated fields for clean metadata and taxonomy maintenance enhancements.  Create policies and procedures for collection development that include executing collection purification and imposing retention schedules.  Maintain clearance rights and follow compliance standards with asset fulfillment and access.  Ingest targeted stock images for time sensitive projects, research and forecast future power user needs.

As a liaison, serve as the first point of contact to global software users and lead trainer; creating job aids, providing training and support in order to quickly resolve issues. Document and report on internal issues in order to identify trends, determine root cause, raise concerns to vendor and management and recommend solutions/enhancements.  Leads the software issue resolution process by working closely with internal IST and software vendor to quickly resolve software, browser or related issues.  Responsible for fully testing the system and leading user acceptance tests for applied fixes, upgrades and new deployments.

Preferred Qualifications:
•       3-5 years DAM experience
•       Subject matter expertise in the cosmetic industry or an ability to learn brand content quickly
•       Degree in MLIS/Information Science, or related academic/professional experience
•       Understand corporate brand marketing and targeted monetize-able assets
•       Expertise is various digital formats and processing digital materials
•       Ability to offer strategic solutions and troubleshoot at the cross section of DAM, stakeholders and processes
•       Experience in leading teams and collaborating with colleagues on complex projects across departments
•       Ability to quickly support asset fulfillment in rights and restrictions, research/management and access troubleshooting
•       Experience building relationships with upper management, creative agencies, departmental entities, and vendors
•       Align business divisional goals with digital collection policies to preserve the most iconic and representative assets.
•       Ability to forecast and recommend process, project, and program improvements.
•       Build and deliver training for greater DAM use and access
•       Power user testing and analysis
