JOB SUMMARY:
Support ongoing stills-based preservation and access projects
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (include, but not limited to):
– Research stills collection requests and queries
– Liaise with clients/business units for stills selections
– Liaise with Studio Preservation and Scanning personnel to prioritize and track materials flagged for scanning
– Track requests and scans, provide monthly reports
– Rehouse stills into archival sleeves, boxes and other conservation efforts as needed or requested
– Inventory individual stills within full title collections
– Provide documentation and cataloging for each still in digital asset management system as needed
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
– Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in the field
– 2 years’ experience with stills/photographic media, archival skills and customer service
– Strong organization and communication skills
– Knowledge of digital asset management systems
– Knowledge of film history and performers
– Ability to lift cartons/materials up to 20 pounds
– Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
