This position will assist the Records Manager in transforming the companies program from primarily paper to digital. The Coordinator will provide support in all areas, but will assume the lead in creating, analyzing, manipulating and maintaining digital assets and related meta-data in the cloud. Position partners with the Records Manager and IT department.
Daily duties include developing written workflows and policies for document imaging. Digital content management, migration and preservation are important tasks that must be handled with great attention to detail. Collaborate with related departments for integration and user adoption. Manage custom user workspace configurations, assigning user permission roles and access. Perform audits, create, schedule and share reports to management. Provide user training and troubleshooting. Analyze, evaluate and recommend process, project and program improvement. Primary consideration will be given to those in the following disciplines – Library/Archives/Records & Information Sciences, Computer Sciences, Business/Management, and Financial Services. Frequent use of Microsoft Office Suite, Windows and Mac OS, cloudbased productivity, scanning and digital file asset management.
Advanced skills needed creating and maintaining data and informational databases, meta-data extraction, taxonomy and file maintenance Experience in various digital formats and processing digital materials from paper to digital Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt to change and handle stress effectively.
Preferred Qualifications – 1-2 years experience in Corporate Records Management or Archives, and Digital Asset Management (DAM) experience. New Master’s graduates are encouraged to apply. Active participation in related professional organizations is a plus.
