The Archdiocese of Cincinnati Archives is seeking an intern for the summer of 2016. The position will provide a student pursuing a career in the archival or public history profession the opportunity to gain on-the-job training and practical professional experience on projects related to the arrangement and description of record collections. Duties include assisting with processing, arranging, preserving, and describing archival collections.

The internship is unpaid. However, the archives will work with the student to structure the internship to meet requirements for academic credit. Parking is provided. The successful candidate must complete a background check.

Required Qualifications:
1. Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate program in Archives, Library Science, Museum Studies, History, Public History, or Education.
2. Effective communication skills and attention to detail.
3. Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
4. Experience working independently as demonstrated by education and/or work experience.
