Rapidly growing company carving a new niche in the growing field of family archiving is seeking part-time help.
•Help out with all aspects of digitization.
•Working without supervision to complete projects in both a timely and highly productive manner.
•Interact with customers.
•Take primary responsibility for one or more of the company’s primary tasks, including digitization of slides, photos, film and home videos. Hands-on training will be provided. Special interest in hiring someone who has the knowledge and skills to perform photo restoration.
•Staff the office during hours when the owner is not there.
•Help take care of day-to-day responsibilities of maintaining the office, including keeping the space organized and clean; vacuuming carpets; keeping an eye on supplies that are running low; and making sure the sidewalk sign is both put outside and brought back inside in a timely manner.
•Staffing educational and promotional events when necessary.
•Communicating with existing customers about the status of their work.
Employee must be organized, self-motivated and committed to high quality customer service. Background in libraries, archiving, scanning and other aspects of the business extremely helpful. 15 to 20 hours per week to start with growth opportunity for an employee who fits well into this creative, service-oriented Downtown Ann Arbor small business.
