Multicom Entertainment Group is an independent distribution company with a focus on the worldwide television market, digital media platforms, co-productions, publishing, licensing and merchandising. Multicom’s media holdings include thousands of hours of content from our library of shows and movies. The media cataloguer will be responsible for gaining physical and intellectual control of a large collection of videotape based media assets.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Process a large collection of videotapes across a range of formats and production elements in support of the company’s digitization workflow.
* Gain physical and intellectual control of tape collection through the creation of inventory records and storage of material in media vaults.
* Potential for research of titles for digitization.
Qualifications/Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree
* Basic understanding of videotape based media assets
* Physical Storage (environmental conditions, efficient use of space, etc.)
* Basic understanding of inventory data and industry nomenclature.
* Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and processes.
* Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with database and inventory management applications.

*Experience in handling a variety of audiovisual media
*Understanding of feature-film and television show production and post-production processes and the elements those processes produce
*Experience in archives or physical media vault environment
