Thomas Balch Library
$16.10-$27.02 Hourly DOQ
Closing Date: Open until filled
This is a flexible part-time position located within the Thomas Balch Library. This position provides reference assistance and performs outreach to the general public, staff and Town officials with local, regional and military history, and genealogy. Performs office duties requiring business skills, knowledge of library operations and knowledge of computer programs. May assist with administrative, professional or paraprofessional work. Schedule varies; weekend and evening hours required.
Required: BA and MA in a related area (history, library science, genealogy, archives); two years of library and reference experience.
Preferred: MA in Library Science or Archival Administration; five years of library and reference experience with two years in special collections; bilingual in English/Spanish.
