Please include instructions for how to apply.: The Archives Cataloger performs duties that require working knowledge of archival management principles to organize, describe and promote access to historical materials, specifically those to be used for the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s upcoming centennial celebrations. The Archives Cataloger reports to the Digital Archives Manager.
Position Elements:
• Process and catalog archival records to be featured or referenced as part of the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s upcoming centennial celebrations
• Digitize collections for ingest into an enterprise-wide Digital Asset Management system, including gathering and entering asset metadata to enable extensive search capabilities
• Conduct performance history research and perform data entry as needed
• Other duties as needed
