JHUAPL’s Communications Department is looking for a section supervisor to lead our Digital Asset Management Section. This section provides digital curation, preservation, metadata entry, and capture operations management for the resources in APL’s digital archives. We’re looking for someone with expert knowledge of different digital objects to determine appropriate support needs and lead the storage and preservation procedures and practices that will ensure the continued trustworthiness and accessibility of digital objects. You will be expected to ensure the use of methods and tools that support interoperability of different applications and preservation technologies among users.
