Reporting to the Director of Special Collections and University Archives, this position will have the responsibility for describing, preserving, and providing access to the McFarlin Special Collections rare book and print collections. The Special Collections Cataloging Librarian is responsible for original and complex copy cataloging of materials in a variety of formats. This position works with the Director to set cataloging priorities and oversee stacks management. This position also works with the Preservation Specialist to ensure that print collections are safely and properly housed and stored according to archival standards.
