The Mississippi Department of Archives and History is seeking a local government records specialist to serve in Archives and Records Services. This position is assigned to the Local Government Records Office, providing records and information management guidance to county and municipality staff through education, planning, and policy recommendations. The role involves programmatic monitoring of projects and grants and performing related work as required. This is hands-on fieldwork with day travel throughout the state every week.
