The Lionsgate Asset Management department is looking for a Library Consolidation Consultant to help evaluate and consolidate metadata across multiple inventories. The Library Consolidation Consultant will work closely with internal partners to gather relevant information about our titles and assets and analyze those results to determine the accuracy and quality of the metadata, identify redundancies or discrepancies, while also maintaining an eye towards the protection of our titles and content. Challenges will include dealing with varied and multiple datasets, non-standardized metadata, and volume.
The Library Consolidation Consultant will have entertainment/media archive experience and passion for working with large datasets. The work will be performed in a dynamic environment, working directly with the Asset Management and Preservation Manager in a flexible and agile manner, with opportunities for remote work. They should have a deep understanding of film, video, audio assets, archives, and formats, as well as be able to use tools such as MS Excel and Inventory Databases/Systems. They should be able to work autonomously at times and collaboratively as well, are self-motivated, critical thinkers and enthusiastic! They should be comfortable working with people and have strong communication skills.
