Backstage Library Works is seeking qualified candidates for open positions for the role of Archival Processing Technician. As an archival processing technician, you will play a vital role in improving access and the preservation of important historical records through the processing of archival collections. This will involve assessing, arranging, re-housing, and labeling various collection materials including paper documents, photographs, film, and others. This will also involve capturing metadata associated with collection materials while maintaining archival norms and standards.
The Archival Processing Technician is expected to maintain set productivity goals to ensure the project stays on track with scheduled timelines. Additionally, to ensure customer satisfaction, daily quality control checks will be performed by your direct supervisor, with feedback provided.
