The United States Naval Institute is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual for a paid photo digitization internship.
The Photo Digitization Intern will commit to between 15 and 20 hours of work per week on-site. The intern will learn about and participate in the digitization process for the Naval Institute’s photographic collections. A more detailed description is available at the URL provided.
Salary Description
$18/hour
Requirements:
– Enrollment in, or recent completion of an MLIS or similar degree
– Excellent attention to detail
– Ability to work both independently and under supervision
– Ability to pass a background check
– Interest in metadata management and digital preservation (preferred)
– Interest in maritime history (preferred)
