During this eight-week program, which is funded in part by the National Endowment for the Humanities, interns will work alongside a senior member of the LancasterHistory staff and complete an independent project in their department. In the summer of 2025, opportunities are available in Archives; Curatorial; and Historic Site Management at James Buchanan’s Wheatland.
Interns are required to attend their internship four days per week, Monday through Thursday from 10am to 4pm. LancasterHistory charges no tuition or program fees, and we offer each student a $2,500 stipend. The internship will run for 8 weeks beginning June 2 and ending July 24.
