Are you passionate about Libraries, digital content, and community engagement? We’re looking for a dynamic Librarian and Website Coordinator to join our team and play a vital role in preserving our club’s library and literary heritage while enhancing our digital presence.

Library and Website Coordinator Job Summary

About the Role

This unique dual-role position combines traditional library management with modern website coordination. You’ll be responsible for curating and maintaining our library collection, supporting literary events, and ensuring our website remains a vibrant and accurate reflection of club life.

Key Responsibilities

Library Management
Maintain and organize the club’s library collection
Respond to member inquiries and recommend books
Manage acquisitions, catalog updates, and inventory
Create themed displays and monthly newsletters
Support library events and book sales

Website Coordination
Provide basic tech support (e.g., password resets)
Update website content: events, classes, newsletters, and member profiles
Manage Zoom events and upload recordings
Support the Website Committee and attend related meetings

Book Sales
Oversee book inventory and POS operations during events
Coordinate with vendors and train staff on sales systems

Archival Support
Assist with archival projects and digital preservation
Supervise interns and attend Archives Committee meetings

Class & Admin Support
Input and update class schedules
Provide general administrative support, including notary services and digital design assistance

What We’re Looking For
Strong organizational and communication skills
Experience in library science, digital content management, or related fields
Comfort with technology and digital platforms (Zoom, CMS, POS systems)
A collaborative spirit and a love for books and community engagement
