Position: Archivist – Part-Time

Description:
The Library at St. Ambrose University seeks a part-time Archivist for the Library Special Collections & Archives. Responsibilities include organizing and classifying the Archives collections; insuring the proper storage and preservation of the Archives; designing and implementing exhibitions and learning opportunities for the campus; and providing instruction and assistance in research using the Archives.
Requirements: Masters of Library Science degree from ALA-accredited library school with a concentration in archival studies, or a Masters in Museum Studies; experience in processing special and archival collections; and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with faculty, students, donors and others. St. Ambrose is an independent , comprehensive, and Catholic diocesan university firmly grounded in the liberal arts.
