Western Illinois University (WIU) Libraries announces an exciting paid Post-MLS graduate assistantship opportunity for a librarian-archivist interested in Archives and Special Collections. The graduate assistant will work 20 hours each week in the Archives. Specific duties will depend upon candidate interest and departmental need but could include processing, cataloging, records management, and reference. At the same time the graduate assistant will pursue a second master’s degree with a complete tuition waiver (in and out of state tuition paid). WIU is a comprehensive university with strong graduate programs in history, political science, geography, English, museum studies, education, instructional design, and other areas.
