Job Summary/Basic Function:
Prepare and teach upper-level undergraduate and graduate level courses in area of expertise; contribute to the ongoing development of an atmosphere of learning that extends beyond the classroom; work with student honor society; mentor and advise History majors; contribute to program specific curricular development and assessment; serve on college and university committees; maintain an active research agenda appropriate for a regional university.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Minimum Qualifications:
Earned doctorate in History with a specialization in the military or diplomatic history of the Vietnam War.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience as an archivist, especially working with records related to the Vietnam War.
