2015 Summer Internship

The Project
The Hagley Library’s Audiovisual Collections and Digital Initiatives Department is currently working on a 3 ­year­ plan to significantly enhance description and access of its AV Collections. The summer intern will work closely with the Audiovisual Archivist on achieving goals laid out in the plan.

The Internship
This 2015 summer internship will focus on processing film, video, audio, and photograph collections. The intern will produce finding aids, re­house materials, and assist with the production of metadata for a variety of audiovisual materials.

Qualifications
The intern should have experience, or at the very least training, in processing archival collections. Sensitivity to and experience with handling of archival materials.

Terms
Summer internships at Hagley typically entail 350 hours of service. The rate is $13 per hour. The application deadline for this posting is March 27, 2015.
