PROJECT OVERVIEW
DPI 3.0 / The Vault Project is the Music Group initiative to transform the most valued tape assets of the footage library into a curated digital library that will enable the Music Group’s content to be immediately accessed for reuse. The library consists of production source tapes as majority, with a smaller portion of master tapes and audio source tapes. The project allows The Music Group the ability to better leverage the value of their own content for reuse and will provide the opportunity to increase revenue via third party licensing in addition to preserving the Music Group legacy. This project-based position will be focused on the collection, verification, and preparation of footage library data necessary to making content production programming decisions.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
•       Operate proprietary database applications for the research and discovery of media assets that meet production needs
•       Categorize assets by content type and perform statistical analyses on asset data under strict deadlines
•       Assist in determining research strategies and analytical methods for fulfilling research requests
•       Source background documentation on historical Music Group programming
•       Prepare data and present data to production and other departments
•       Prepare status reports

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
•       Data reporting and analysis experience
•       Experience performing archival research for TV production
•       Robust knowledge of Microsoft Excel data manipulation
•       Solid base knowledge of music and entertainment industry
•       Familiarity with video production, and tape and digital format vocabulary
•       Excellent interpersonal, follow-through and communication skills
•       Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and considerate of tight deadlines
•       Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent work experience is required

DESIRED QUALIFICATION/SKILLS
•       Familiarity with Viacom Music & Entertainment programming
•       Familiarity with ALIAS and PTS
•       Familiarity with digital library operations (i.e. ingest, digitization, etc.)
•       MOS Certification
