Please include instructions for how to apply.: The Department of Museums, Archives, and Rare Books at Kennesaw State University seeks an energetic, collaborative, and forward-thinking processing archivist to create, manage, and enhance data for university records and manuscripts collections. Processing and cataloging of university records and items from the Bentley Rare Book Museum will constitute the majority of the position’s work load. Additional duties may include assisting areas within a museum or archival program, including but not limited to public programming, public relations, access, installation, outreach, and preservation. The processing archivist may also help develop projects, workflows, and best practices for museum or archival programs. The processing archivist may supervise interns, student assistants, volunteers and docents. The processing archivist should be prepared to help implementing projects, workflows, and best practices for museum or archival programs.
