Job Description (if URL to posting not available). Please include instructions for how to apply.: The material: A scholar’s collection of photographs of Roman Republican coins with related notes. Part of this material is organized in binders, while another part consists of loose pictures organized in drawers. Preserving the sequence of the pictures in drawers is absolutely fundamental.

The assignment: it will consist in 1) scanning the images preserved in binders (14 binders with 200 estimated pages per binder). 2) photographing the 105,700 loose coin images while preserving the original sequence. Archival skills are needed in order to capture the original sequence of the loose coin images. The loose coin images are now organized in drawers.

Expertise: latest digitization technologies and designing archival strategies for complex data structures

Time-line: Full-time Job for three months or until the completion of the task.

Salary: 15,000 dollars to be paid in two installments (after one month and by completion of the task).

The ideal candidate would be available to begin by mid-April and work full-time (40 hours a week Mo-Fri) until the end of the scanning process.
