Please include instructions for how to apply.: The University Archives and Special Collections Department at the Northeastern University Library has three part-time positions available this spring. The Library was a recipient of a NEH American Rescue Plan grant* to accelerate various humanities projects across campus – these positions are a result of this additional funding. Positions are 17 hours/week (flexible), $15/hour, with no benefits.
You are welcome to apply for all three positions, although you should consider each position on its own. Is your strength working with people? If so, please consider the Reference Archives Assistant position with Reference Archivist Molly Brown. Would you like experience with processing collections, and helping us prepare for our upcoming renovation? If so, please consider the Archives Processing Assistant position with Collections Archivist Daniel Lavoie. Are you interested in restorative justice, building a post-custodial digital collection, and/or are a data whiz? Please apply to work with Gina Nortonsmith on the Civil Rights and Restorative Justice project.
