Please include instructions for how to apply.: The KUMC Archives at the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC) invites applications for a Project Archivist to process the records of the Scoliosis Research Society (SRS) housed within the Archives’ Spine and Orthopedic Historical Collections. The SRS is an international society of physicians and allied health professionals that supports research and education in the field of spinal deformities. This is a full-time, salaried, 1-year contract position.
Under the direction of the Head Archivist, the Project Archivist will work to arrange and describe the records of the SRS and create a DACS-compliant finding aid in ArchivesSpace that will be accessible to the KUMC community and the public. We welcome applications from early career archivists looking to develop their expertise.
