Please include instructions for how to apply.: The Grand Valley State University Libraries are seeking candidates for two visiting archivist positions. Reporting to the Head of Collections and Digital Scholarship, the visiting archivists will work closely with the University Archivist and Digital Collections Librarian for training and with project planning and management. One visiting archivist (3-year term) will manage the archival processing and digitization of a large acquisition of municipal master plans, zoning ordinances, and supplemental materials documenting land use across the state of Michigan. The second visiting archivist (1-year term) will process smaller university archives and special collections to reduce the backlog of unprocessed acquisitions. Both positions will work primarily onsite in Seidman House on Grand Valley’s campus in Allendale, Michigan, but may have opportunities for occasional remote work.
