The Johnston Historical Society is converting it collections inventory spreadsheet system to PastPerfect Online. The inventory has been updated by interns who worked part-time in the past 2 summers. We know need to complete the document scanning and place images and artifact descriptions into PastPerfect On-line. The intern will lead this effort and may supervise available volunteers. The internship is part-time with a flexible hours and schedule, for a total of 165 hours in the summer of 2023, at $15 per hour. The intern will be an independent contractor and will be paid monthly based on hours worked.
The intern must be creative; able to work independently and have a genuine interest in preserving and presenting history. At least 2 references will be required, along with a resume.
