Reporting to the Digital Repository and Preservation Librarian within the Georgetown University Library, the Digital Production Specialist for Jesuit Collections is a two-year term position responsible for the digitization, post-production, online publication, and digital preservation of special collections materials documenting Jesuit history. The Digital Production Specialist for Jesuit Collections oversees digital production processes and quality assurance for these materials and manages digitized content within traditional file systems and platforms such as DigitalGeorgetown and APTrust. They assist with documentation of project procedures and workflows, and complete all tasks in accordance with established standards and best-practices. They will also be responsible for regular status reports on the project and helping to assist with the promotion of project milestones.
