Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is a National Historic Landmark and accredited museum in Miami, Florida (www.vizcaya.org). Vizcaya Museum and Gardens seeks a graduate student to create and update existing records in our Collections Management System (CMS). In this fully remote position, the intern will work on one of several possible projects to catalog portions of the archival collections and create associated metadata. Projects include correlating historic records with their descriptive metadata and updating catalog records in our CMS, creating new catalog records and metadata for historic correspondence, and transforming digital surrogates for ingest, and updating catalog records with condition assessments and editing object photography for ingest into our CMS. This internship is on the Engagement & Cultural Resources Team in the Art & Artifact Stewardship Department, and reports to the Museum Archivist.
