TEMPORARY POSITION: Special Collections Teaching and Learning Temporary Assistant, Pepperdine University (15 – 20 hours per week)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced individual to join our team as a Special Collections Teaching and Learning Temporary Assistant. In this 15-20 hour per week role, the person in this position plays a key part in supporting our Special Collections instruction program by conducting and analyzing faculty and student assessments, assisting the Librarian for Special Collections with scheduling class visits and developing learning outcomes. The temporary assistant’s responsibilities will also include preparing instructional spaces, monitoring patron material handling during large class visits, curating and installing collections displays, providing Reading Room coverage, and other supporting tasks as needed. Prior experience with assessment is preferred but not required.
