Your Role

Gensler’s Northeast Regional Knowledge Manager owns the region’s project data and knowledge-sharing systems, serving as the go-to contact for project information, metrics, and tools across New York, Boston, Morristown, Toronto, and Vancouver.

This role sits within the Northeast Marketing, PR and Communications team and works closely with practice area leaders, client relationship teams, and regional, office, and studio directors to keep project insights and data accessible and current.

What You Will Do

Own the accuracy and completeness of project data in Gensler’s Intranet Profiles, and manage the region’s knowledge management tools, including the Intranet, Open Asset DAM, and Tableau dashboards
Train staff across the region on self-service use of these tools, so teams can find and update project information independently
Track how well the region’s information resources are being used and flag gaps to regional and office leadership
Surface relevant project trends, metrics, and internal expertise, and share them across teams via the Intranet and other channels
Represent the Northeast in the firmwide knowledge management community, staying aligned with other Regional Knowledge Managers and Firmwide Data Platform stakeholders
Support cross-team projects that depend on accurate, well-organized project data, from marketing pursuits to leadership reporting
Mine the region’s data for insights that support our strategic goals, and explore new ways to put that data to work as tools and technology evolve

Your Qualifications

6–10 years of experience in knowledge management, marketing, or communications, ideally within a professional services or design firm
Bachelor’s degree in Library Sciences, Management Information Systems, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear, concise updates for leadership
Proficiency in SharePoint, Power BI, Excel, and PowerQuery
Comfort managing multiple priorities independently and collaborating with senior leaders on a regular basis
Interest or experience in artificial intelligence, SQL, information experience/user experience (UX) design, information architecture, data visualization, data governance, taxonomy design, and content strategy a plus.
