The Jacksonville Public Library seeks a detail-oriented Part-Time Support Services Specialist (Cataloging) to support the discovery, access, and management of library collections.
Primary responsibilities include copy cataloging materials in multiple formats, searching and editing bibliographic records in OCLC Connexion, assigning call numbers and genres, creating and maintaining holdings and item records in the library’s integrated library system (ILS), and ensuring the accuracy and consistency of catalog data. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with MARC records, metadata standards, and library technology systems while maintaining high levels of quality and productivity.
