The Term Labor Best Practices Working Group has just released Best Practices for Archival Term Positions! This is a must-read for any institution or hiring manager that is considering hiring an archivist, particularly for temporary or project work. It’s short and practical, but covers essential ground in planning for the hiring of term positions. Thank you to everyone who helped write this guide!
