The company currently works in the fields of archives and records management; collections management; historical research, writing, and editing; museum exhibits; interpretive planning; and educational programming.

We are actively recruiting for records management specialists to work at a client site in Oyster Bay, NY (Long Island). Positions are full-time and for a period of approximately 1 – 1.5 months of work..

Functional Responsibilities:
• Performs records management functions, including researching records management obligations
• Classifies records against a records retention schedule
• Assisting in updating records schedules and facilitating the transfer of records
• Researching and resolving problems
• Maintains project deadlines

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree

Minimum/General Experience: 3 years’ experience in the field of records management/archives

Qualified applicants will be temporary employees of History Associates. As temporary employees, individuals will not be eligible for any benefits offered by HAI.
