Summary of Work
Under the supervision of the Photo Archivist, the Photo Archives Intern will assist in the processing of the Reverend Harold W. Case Photograph Collection. The processing activities, including description, preservation, and organization, are necessary to ensure accessibility, intellectual control, and long-term preservation of the collection’s extremely varied photographic materials depicting the Fort Berthold Reservation, missions serving the area, and its residents.
Many of the duties and tasks related to processing photograph collections of the State Archives are repetitive and extremely meticulous due to the fragility of the historic photographs and other related historic materials.
On-site training will be provided.
